Yue Ke (1183-1240) was born in Tangyin (now Tangyin, Henan Province). A writer and historian of the Southern Song Dynasty, he was the grandson of Yue Fei and the son of Yue Lin. Yue Ke, who was born as a Jinshi, successively held official positions such as the Minister of Household Affairs. His works include "History", "Jin Tuo Cui Bian", "Shame Tan Lu", as well as poetry collections "Yu Chu Collection", "Tanghu Poetry Manuscript", etc.
