Chen Fuen (?-1866) was born in Jiangxi Xincheng (now Lichuan, Jiangxi). In the fifth year of Daoguang (1825), he paid tribute. In the 29th year of Daoguang, he was awarded the Shangshu of the Ministry of Penalty, and then the Shangshu of the Ministry of Etiquette, and then the Shangshu of the Ministry of War. Re-appointed official secretary.
Calligraphy Dong Qichang. Together with Qi Liaozao, Zhao Guang, and Xu Naipu, they are called the four scholars of the Qing Dynasty.
