Maybe you are a student who has just entered school; or maybe you are already a successful entrepreneur; or maybe you are engaged in other professions, but good handwriting can leave a good impression on others. Handwriting is also called the second "face" of a person. Good calligraphy is your business card for life.

In this era of proliferation of the Internet, forgetting to write and illegible fonts have become the norm.

So what is the best way to practice calligraphy? Or is there a calligraphy practice method that is particularly suitable for novice students and adults? In fact, there is nothing difficult about practicing calligraphy. It is mainly due to interest. As a student who has just entered school, there are probably very few people who are interested in practicing calligraphy, because practicing calligraphy is very boring. What everyone thinks about is how to play, or that. In a word, the main thing is to cultivate interest. If you can feel that your calligraphy has improved more or less every day, will you still find it difficult to practice calligraphy?

There are ways to practice calligraphy. Let me share my calligraphy practice below. My handwriting was very poor back then. I even had my homework book torn apart by my teacher because my handwriting was ugly. It was probably when I was in the second grade of junior high school. In that year, there was a very outstanding child in our class. He loved writing at that time, and it happened that the teacher just arranged for me to sit with him. At that time, he would write several calligraphy posts every day. Of course, from my current perspective, Look, of course his writing was not very good at that time, but his level of appreciation was just like that at that time. When I saw that he wrote so neatly and with all the sharp edges of his pen, I was still very envious and felt that if I could Written like that, if others see it, it must be very cool. Later, I also bought a set of copybooks, and then I practiced writing them one stroke at a time.

Now I will share my experience of practicing calligraphy for so many years:

1. Choose a copybook that suits you. I recommend that whether you are an adult or a student practicing regular script, I recommend Sima Yan’s regular script copybook, which is more formal and suitable for practice. If you are a girl who likes European style, you can also copy Tian Yingzhang’s European style, which is available in all major bookstores.

2. The correct way to practice calligraphy. The reason why many people feel that copybook tracing is ineffective is actually because they have improper methods and fail to make reasonable use of copybooks. Tracing is not simply a matter of drawing horizontal lines, but allows you to find the deficiencies in your own structural arrangements through other people's standard fonts, such as the writing of font strokes, the arrangement of structures, etc. You need to observe more to find the differences, and more importantly, follow the copybooks If you write independently, you will be able to practice calligraphy well if you think about it over and over again and persevere.

3. Persistence is the key. Practicing calligraphy is a difficult thing, even if you don't seek to achieve anything in calligraphy. Everyone must practice consistently and insist on writing independently! Think more and improve when you write on weekdays. If you fish for three days and dry the net for two days, you won't be able to practice calligraphy. So success or failure depends on whether you can persist.

In short, if you fall in love with calligraphy practice and insist on practicing calligraphy, you will find faults with the words you write. Therefore, when you practice calligraphy, you should think more, read more, listen more, and practice more. You will not say that you will become a master, but you will write words that others will envy. It's just around the corner.
