1. Choose a copybook that suits you. I recommend that whether you are an adult or a student practicing regular script, I recommend Sima Yan’s regular script copybook, which is more formal and suitable for practice. If you are a girl who likes European style, you can also copy Tian Yingzhang’s European style, which is available in all major bookstores.
2. The correct way to practice calligraphy. The reason why many people feel that copybook tracing is ineffective is actually because they have improper methods and fail to make reasonable use of copybooks. Tracing is not simply a matter of drawing horizontal lines, but allows you to find the deficiencies in your own structural arrangements through other people's standard fonts, such as the writing of font strokes, the arrangement of structures, etc. You need to observe more to find the differences, and more importantly, follow the copybooks If you write independently, you will be able to practice calligraphy well if you think about it over and over again and persevere.
3. Persistence is the key. Practicing calligraphy is a difficult thing, even if you don't seek to achieve anything in calligraphy. Everyone must practice consistently and insist on writing independently! Think more and improve when you write on weekdays.
