Temporary post
Linting means putting the copybook aside and writing based on observation, understanding and memory. There are four commonly used forms of writing.
Opposite method: Put the anti-model post in front of your eyes and write it side by side. You can write it in the same size as the model character, or you can enlarge or reduce it.
Back-to-back method: Don’t read the model post, just write the words you have learned from memory.
Impression method: Don’t seek to achieve the exactness of local stippling, but focus on the overall relationship with the painting and the grasp of the charm.
Creative writing method: Use the understanding of the dots, structure, chapters and style of the model poster to write words that are not on the model poster, or combine words to form a text to create a work. Temporary post request
The copybook should be placed on the upper left side of the desk. The inkstone is placed on the upper right side, and the practice paper is facing you, not skewed. The paper can move up, down, left, and right when writing. Don’t dip the ink too full, develop the habit of dipping it in again after you finish, and don’t dip it in ink just after writing a stroke.
The calligraphy format is written vertically from top to bottom, right first and then left. The time for posting should be more than half an hour every day, and at least thirty characters should be written, and it should not be interrupted on holidays. If you want to achieve success in calligraphy, this little time is not enough.
Beginners can refer to the illustrations of pointillism brush movements, but be sure to note that these are only illustrations provided for the convenience of beginners. In fact, the strokes of dot painting are all done in one go, and are by no means a simple repetition of mechanical movements. Therefore, when doing stipple painting, one cannot be confident and elegant, nor can one move as rigidly as a puppet. You must gradually understand the writing skills during practice under the guidance of a teacher, otherwise once bad habits are formed, it will not be easy to correct them.
The structure of characters can only be mastered after a long period of practice. You should first see the words clearly before writing. Try to develop the habit of writing one word after reading it. You should not read one word and write one word after another. Pay special attention to the starting point of the first stroke. For beginners, as long as they can write the words neatly in the middle of the grid, they have achieved the goal.
The meter grid is the boundary paper for practicing calligraphy. When practicing calligraphy, compare the sample glyphs, master the stipple positions, and make full use of the meter grid, which can help us master the structural arrangement of calligraphy as soon as possible and lay a good foundation for the transition to "back-to-back" writing.
