Primary school students are learning to practice calligraphy for the first time, where should they start?

Many people, when they first learn to practice calligraphy, just buy a copybook and start practicing directly from Chinese characters.

In fact, this approach is wrong.

No matter what you do, it is best to start from the shallower to the deeper, from easy to difficult, lay a solid foundation, and then learn further.

Chinese characters are composed of basic strokes. If you start writing without practicing the strokes, you will definitely not be able to write well. If you want to run before you can walk, it will not work.

If you want to practice calligraphy well, you must first lay a good foundation. The correct order of calligraphy practice should be from basic strokes, to radicals, and then to the structure of Chinese characters.
