Teacher Lu Dadong was born in Penglai City, Shandong Province. In 1991, the Department of Calligraphy, China Academy of Art, pursued a bachelor's degree in law and seal cutting. Under the tutelage of Mr. Liu Jiang, Zhang Zuan, Wang Dongling, Zhu Suizhi, Chen Zhenlian, Qiu Zhenzhong. In 2002, he was admitted to the Department of Calligraphy of the China Academy of Art, studying for a master's degree in seal cutting, under the tutelage of Mr. Wang Dongling. He is currently an associate professor of the Modern Calligraphy Research Center of China Academy of Art, a distinguished associate professor of the International Academy of China Academy of Art, and the lead singer of Hangzhou Yuren Band.
