Sima Guang's "Zhenshu Ningzhou Tie" is 32.7 cm long and 57.6 cm wide. Collection of Shanghai Museum
This post is Sima Guang's reply to his nephew Sima Fu's letter, instructing him to resign and return home to serve his relatives. It was written when Sima Guang was sixty-seven years old. His calligraphy has a square structure, clear and neat rise and fall, quaint and honest, and embodies the meaning of official script. The seals have the seals of Teng Yongheng and Su Danian of the Yuan Dynasty, Shen Zhou and Xiang Yuanbian of the Ming Dynasty, and Jiang Deliang, Wu Yuanhui, Luo Tianchi and Pan Yanling of the Qing Dynasty.
