It was unearthed in Fuli Palace of the Western Han Dynasty in Hancheng County, Shaanxi Province in 1960. It is very close to Sima Qian's tomb. The text on the brick is "Xia Yang Fuli Palace combines the wall with the infinite world." Xia Yang is the ancient name of Hancheng, and Fuli Palace is One of the famous summer palaces of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. This brick is believed to be a relic from the palace.
