"King Wu's Fuchai Sword" is a weapon of the Spring and Autumn Period. It was unearthed in Hui County, Henan Province in 1976. The overall length is 53.8cm, and the grid width is 5.5cm. This sword is in the collection of Guyue Pavilion in Taipei. The sword is sharp, the sword is fully decorated with patterns, and the sword is inlaid with turquoise animal face patterns. The sword is engraved with the characters "Attack King Fu Chai, Zi Cha Qi Yuan Yong" near the grid, which is the sword used by King Wu Fu Chai. Many weapons belonging to King Wu Fucha have been discovered. Fucha was the son of King Helu of Wu. He succeeded to the throne in 495 BC. He defeated King Goujian of Yue the following year, and then turned his army north to fight for hegemony in the Central Plains. In 482 BC, King Wu Fuchai and Jin Dinggong formed an alliance in Huangchi (south of Shangqiu County today in Henan Province).
