The two Tian brothers in today's calligraphy world, Tian Yunzhang and Tian Yingzhang, are also from Tianjin. Their calligraphy is also greatly influenced by Wang Weixian's calligraphy.
Wang Weixian can be said to be Tian Yingzhang’s regular script enlightenment teacher. Teacher Tian Yingzhang once praised him highly.

Many people are accustomed to referring to Teacher Tian Yingzhang's Ou Kai script as "Tian Kai" because Teacher Tian Yingzhang's regular script has been beautified and standardized based on Ou Kai script.
Although "Tian Kai" is more standardized and beautiful in terms of glyphs, it has lost many of the characteristics of European Kai script. Without the dangerous and changeable structure of European Kai script, the artistry has been reduced a lot, and the fundamental meaning of European Kai script has been lost.
