Zhao Mengfu's Orchid Pavilion version can be said to be closely connected with the calligraphy sage. The entire text is meticulous and has a natural interest. Although it is based on rules, there is no hint of embarrassment. It makes people think of the demeanor of an immortal shedding bones. Mi Fu wrote a poem praising Lanting: "Zhi is the highest and there is no one like it." Take a look at the character "Zhi" in Zhao's Linben. It can be stretched, tight, peaked, hidden, graceful, or clumsy. There are many changes. And integrated. Some details in "Lanting Tie" are repeatedly reproduced in Zhao's writings, such as the word "left", which is horizontally crossed and then moved to the left. It is not very obvious, Zhao Mengfu specially emphasized it in writing, leaving infinite convenience for future generations. Some of the uncommon dots and dashes in Lanting's post, such as counter-repression, etc., were written very precisely and to the point by Zhao.

Change and unity are a pair of contradictions. If change is emphasized blindly, the style will not be easy to be unified, and it will even be wild, wild and vulgar. If you blindly emphasize unity, a thousand words will be the same, boring, or even overly familiar, which will make people bored. On the basis of strong writing power and handsome characters, changes are integrated into the unity, and new ideas are incorporated into the laws. It is difficult to achieve this without a large-scale writing. The charm of Zhao Lin's Orchid Pavilion is vividly reflected on the paper; the style of Orchid Pavilion is reproduced in every detail.
