Wang Duo was a versatile calligrapher with various styles. Whether it was his majestic and powerful large regular script, his ancient and simple small regular script, or his flying and jumping running and cursive scripts, he was well-known in the calligraphy circles of the late Ming Dynasty. It's top notch. Among them, most of his calligraphy and cursive calligraphy have been handed down from generation to generation, and many of his calligraphy, ruler slips, and inscriptions are engraved in stone. The most famous ones are undoubtedly "Xianshan Garden Calligraphy" and "Langhua Guan Calligraphy".

However, formal scripts are rare in Wang Duo's works. The regular script "Yanshou Temple Stele" included in the fifth volume of "Xianshan Garden Tie" is Wang Duo's only regular script in Liu style that has been handed down from generation to generation.

This stele is written in a thin but not dry way, tight but not dense, with a strong and elegant atmosphere, fully grasping the essence of Liu Shu. Regardless of the brushwork and composition, it can be called "spiritually similar" and is Xue Liu's masterpiece.
