In the Qing Dynasty, He Shaoji wrote "Ryukyu Fu" in small regular script at the age of 39.

He Shaoji's calligraphy is common in running script and seal script. It is dark, simple and full of clumsiness. Because of its original wrist-turning technique, it is even considered to be the source of "clumsy". However, the small regular script written by He Shaoji in his early calligraphy, combined with Yan Zhenqing's "Magu Immortal Altar" and Wang Xizhi's "Huang Ting Jing" and "Le Yi Lun", is quite beautiful.
