Dong Qichang's "Ringshu Lin Chu Suiliang Dead Tree Fu Juan", paper, running script, size 22.1 cm × 284.7 cm, written in the sixth year of Tianqi (1626), collected by Liaoning Provincial Museum.

Chu Suiliang's "Ode on a Dead Tree" was written in 630. The original copy does not exist, and only the engraved version has been handed down. The "Tingyu Lou Tie" is particularly exquisite. Dong Qichang's "Xihongtang Tie" is also collected. This volume is printed on gold-sprinkled paper and was written in 1626, when Dong was 72 years old. Although it is a temporary calligraphy, his own writing style is often revealed, the structure is sparse and clear, and the energy is smooth. The strokes start out soft and gentle, then gradually become fast and continuous. Chu's calligraphy is strong, plump, swaying and beautiful, as beautiful as the beautiful lady of Yaotai. It has a great influence on Dong's calligraphy style.
