Today I will introduce two masterpieces of calligraphy related to autumn by Zhao Mengfu. The first one is "Late Autumn Tie", which is a collaboration between Zhao Mengfu and his wife Duan Sheng. The second one is "Ode to the Sound of Autumn" which is comparable to "Lanting Preface". Please read them carefully.
The entire text of "Autumn Deep Tie" is broken up into sentences and written in an eclectic manner, which reflects that the calligrapher's artistic skills have reached a state of perfection and perfection. The structure is well-proportioned. After studying and appreciating it, every starting point, pause, and fortune have their own rules, but the rules are invisible.
Judging from the handwriting, the writing style of "Qiu Shen Tie" is gentle and elegant, which is consistent with Zhao Mengfu's running calligraphy characteristics. Zhao Mengfu had a deep relationship with Mrs. Guan, so most experts believe that "Qiu Shen Tie" should have been written by Zhao Mengfu on behalf of his wife Guan Sheng.
