Fei Nianci (1855-1905) was a Jinshi in the 15th year of Guangxu (1889). His calligraphy is familiar with the European and Chu families as well as the legacy of Wei stele. He is very diligent in copying and his writing is firm and thick. He is especially famous for his regular script and is highly appreciated. , good at poetry, good at art, and his knowledge of epigraphy and stone catalogues was unparalleled for a while. He is the author of "Gui Mu Ji".
