"The Tomb of the First One" was written by Li Jiqing in the second year of Dali of the Tang Dynasty (767). The stele is broken and written by Li Yangbing. It is 171 cm high and 79 cm wide. 14 lines, 26 words per line. The existing Forest of Steles in Xi'an.
The original stele was carved in the second year of Dali of the Tang Dynasty (767 AD).拪 is the ancient Chinese character for Qian. Because Li Jiqing was superstitious about Feng Shui, he moved the graves of his ancestors from the bank of Ba River to Fengqiyuan. The inscription records this. The current stele was copied by Yao Zonghe and others in the third year of Dazhong Xiangfu (1010) in the Northern Song Dynasty. The strokes are worse than those in "Three Tombs Monument".
