Qigong (1912-2005), who called himself "Qi Minggong", had the courtesy name Yuanbai, also known as Yuanbo, and the name Yuanbei Jushi. He was a Manchu in Beijing. A famous contemporary Chinese calligrapher, painter, educator, classical philologist, connoisseur, redologist, poet, and master of Chinese studies.
