"The Monument of Huangfu Jun" is also called "The Monument of Huangfu's Birthday", and its full name is "The Monument of the Emperor Hongyi and Ming Gong Huangfu of the Sui Dynasty, Zuo Guanglu". The article was written by Tang Yu Zhining and written by Ouyang Xun. There are twenty-eight lines and fifty-nine characters. On the front of the stele, there are twelve characters in Yangwen seal script: "Sui Zhuguo Hongyi Minggong Huangfu Jun Stele". The inscription records the events of Huangfu's birthday and is now in the Forest of Steles in the Shaanxi Provincial Museum.

"Huangfu Jun Stele", "Jiucheng Palace Liquan Inscription", "Huadu Temple Stele", etc. are all representative works of Ouyang Xun's regular script. However, in addition to the common features of European calligraphy, such as the slender shape, steady brushwork, well-proportioned horizontal and vertical strokes, and steep knots, this monument as a whole looks more solemn and serious, completing the process of moving from a mixture of official and regular script to a complete regular script. The characters are easy to control for beginners and easy to copy. Qing Weng Fang Gang highly praised this stele, saying: "This is the first path that those who learn Tang Kai script must take. If we don't start from this point, how can the frame structure enter "Jiucheng" and "Huadu"?" It is Weng's words of joy and sorrow that beginners can learn from.
