Collecting the words of predecessors to form another text originated in the early Tang Dynasty. Huairen collected Wang Yi's few characters to form the imperial preface to the sacred teachings, which became a famous calligraphy throughout the ages.
Nowadays, some good people have compiled Liu Chengxuan's characters into a three-character sutra, hoping that future generations will learn the Dharma and make it easier for contemporary people to write down and be immersed in the sweet rain of traditional morality. This can be said to be a good move.
However, today's people collect Hedong characters as a sutra, and Huairen collects Youjun characters as a preface. Why?
It took only three hundred years for Youjun to reach Huairen. His books, whether in ink or on stele, were widely circulated in the court or at home, and his characters were easy to find. This one;
The preface is written in either cursive or running script, with occasional regular script, which is fast and slow, and the arrangement is flexible. This second;
Huairen was a descendant of Youjun, and he was also good at the king's calligraphy. He was ordered by the emperor to collect calligraphy with great concentration. It took him twenty-six years to complete this preface, which has been praised for its exquisiteness for thousands of years. This is the third one.
Today's people are not as good as the above three.
First, Liu Kai's post contains only a few extensions and not many characters to choose from.
Secondly, they both have the character "Liu", and were not written at the same time. Therefore, the old and the strong are different, and the strength and beauty are different. When they are gathered in one place, Xuanyuan can be seen immediately.
Third, regular script is rigorous, not cursive. Never hide adultery, and never tolerate evil. Among the collection of characters, half of them are taken from the whole, dogs and minks are mixed with each other, and fakes are used to fill the truth, which can be seen everywhere. In the past, it harmed the reputation of Liu Ti; in the past, it hindered the correct view of later generations. It's just a copy, but there are flaws in the past.
Guisou studied calligraphy at the age of five and entered Linliu. He lived through the spring and autumn of the nine calendar years, and was constantly exposed to cold and heat. Nowadays, even though I have passed my senior year, I still feel the warmth of the past. Because it was difficult to see this collection, I had frivolous thoughts and wrote this sutra with willow weight. Although it is difficult to reach the level of Cheng Xuan Fengshen, you can still follow the steps of Tang Xian and Wu Wu. The characters are all written in Qiyue, and there is no distinction between mountains and rivers throughout the text. Although he cannot be said to be more beautiful than his colleagues, his sincerity is enough to make Meng Xue sit in the right place.
