Liu Gongquan's "Diamond Sutra", the full name of which is "Vajra Prajna Paramita Sutra", was engraved in April of the fourth year of Changqing's reign in the Tang Dynasty (824). It is Liu Gongquan's early calligraphy work. The only copy of the Tang rubbings is now in the collection of the Paris Museum in France. Liu Gongquan was also good at writing inscriptions in large regular script. The font can be used as a list script or reduced to small and medium regular script. Therefore, Liu style calligraphy has always been popular all over the country. At that time, if Liu Gongquan could not write the inscriptions on the inscriptions of the ministers, their descendants would be considered unfilial. When foreign envoys came to the Tang Dynasty, they brought a special amount of money with them to buy Liu Shu. Liu Shu spread to Japan, which shows that Liu Shu had a great influence at home and abroad at that time. In our country, Liu Shu has always been chosen as the model for regular script.
