Li Zhaoluo (1769-1841), also known as Shenqi, was born in Yanghu (now Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province). His original surname was Wang. He was educated by Li in the middle Ming Dynasty, so he assumed the surname of Li. During the Jiaqing period, Jinshi, selected common people, served as co-editors of Wuying Hall, and changed Fengtai County magistrate. Later he lectured at Jiangyin Academy. He was good at calligraphy and poetry, and was proficient in textual research, phonology, history, geography, and calculus. He highly praised the articles of the Tongcheng School. There are "Yang Yizhai Collection", "The Geographic Records of the Past Dynasties and the Modern Interpretation", "The Geographic Evolution Map of the Past Dynasties", "The Geographical Rhymes of the Dynasty", "The Map of the Unification of the Dynasty", etc., and the selected works include "Parallel Style Wenchao".
