This tripod is an artifact from the period of King Gong of the Western Zhou Dynasty. It has been lost for a long time, and the only remaining inscription is a rubbing with a broken lower margin and a large seal script. The inscription is dense and simple, thick and concise, with an ancient and majestic air. It is the most exquisite chapter among the bronze inscriptions in the middle of the Western Zhou Dynasty.
