This piece is one of Zhang Yu's "Poems of Xiaoyouxian" written in cursive by Yang Weizhen. The calligraphy is vigorous, unruly, and distinctive, making it his representative work. It is signed "Lao Tie" and has two seals: "Yang Lianfu" Bai Wen and "Tiefie Taoist" Zhu Wen. The book was written in the first month of the twenty-third year of Zhizheng (1363), when the author was sixty-seven years old.
